Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect your name, mobile phone number, pickup and delivery ZIP codes, target move date, home size selection, and a one-time SMS verification code sent to your phone. We do not collect payment information through the quote form.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to (1) prepare your moving quote, (2) contact you about your specific move, and (3) verify that you are a real person submitting a real request. We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your personal information — including your phone number — to any third party for marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes.

How we protect it

All form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.3). Phone verification is handled through Twilio's secure infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. Lead information is delivered directly to our team through encrypted messaging — we do not store quote requests in any third-party database.

Cookies & analytics

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam submissions. Turnstile is a privacy-respecting alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs and does not track your browsing activity. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking pixels.

Your rights (US residents)

Under the CCPA, CPRA, and applicable state privacy laws, US residents have the right to: (1) request a copy of personal information we hold about you, (2) request deletion of your personal information, (3) opt out of any future communications, and (4) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Email privacy@boxitco.com to make a request — we respond within 7 business days.

Children's privacy

Boxitco's services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email if we have your contact information.

SMS / Text Messaging Terms (A2P 10DLC Compliant)

These terms govern automated text messages sent by Boxitco to U.S. mobile numbers. By submitting your phone number through our quote form, you agree to the terms in this section.

Program description

Boxitco operates a transactional SMS program that sends (a) one-time verification codes to confirm your phone number, and (b) conversational replies from our moving specialists about your specific quote request. This is not a marketing program. We do not send promotional offers, recurring announcements, or broadcast messaging.

Consent (express written consent)

By entering your phone number in our quote form and clicking "Send Verification Code," you provide express written consent for Boxitco to send you SMS messages including (1) a one-time verification code, and (2) follow-up messages from our team regarding your specific quote request. You are not required to provide consent as a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is provided via:
  • Manual entry of your phone number in our online form
  • Affirmative action of clicking "Send Verification Code"
  • Acknowledgement notice displayed at the point of capture

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. You will typically receive 1 verification message per quote request and a small number of conversational follow-up messages from a Boxitco specialist (usually 1–10 messages over the course of finalizing your move).

Pricing

Boxitco does not charge for SMS messages. However, message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Check with your carrier for details on your specific plan.

Opt-out (STOP)

You can cancel SMS messaging at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and will not send any further messages until you opt back in. To rejoin, submit a new quote on our website or reply START.

Carrier support & limitations

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, Cricket, Alltel, Cincinnati Bell, and most other major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liablefor delayed or undelivered messages. Boxitco is not responsible for any messaging delays, errors, or non-delivery caused by carrier-side issues.

Privacy of SMS data

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are stored solely for the purposes described in this section and our Privacy Policy. Boxitco does not sell, rent, share, or transfer phone numbers or SMS opt-in information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only third party that processes your phone number is Twilio Inc., which acts as our messaging service provider under a data processing agreement.

Ten Digit Long Code (10DLC) compliance

Boxitco's SMS messaging program is registered through Twilio's A2P 10DLC platform with The Campaign Registry (TCR) in compliance with CTIA Messaging Principles & Best Practices, U.S. mobile carrier requirements, and applicable provisions of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Messages originate from a registered 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone number associated with our verified business identity.

Terms of Service

Quote validity

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Quotes are based on the home size, route, and date information you provide. Material discrepancies discovered during a pre-move walkthrough may require an updated quote, which will be communicated and confirmed before any work begins.

Cancellation policy

Bookings cancelled more than 7 days before the scheduled move date are fully refundable. Cancellations within 7 days of the move are subject to a deposit forfeit equal to 25% of the quoted price. Same-day cancellations forfeit 50%.

Liability & insurance

Boxitco carries USDOT-required cargo and liability insurance. Standard valuation coverage is $0.60 per pound per item under federal regulations. Full Value Protection is available as an upgrade and is recommended for high-value households. Claims must be filed within 9 months of delivery per federal interstate moving regulations (49 CFR Part 370).

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website or our services for any unlawful purpose, to submit false information, to attempt to interfere with or compromise the security of our systems, or to use automated tools to submit quote requests. Violations may result in your information being reported to law enforcement.

Disputes

Any disputes will first be addressed through our customer service team. Unresolved disputes will be handled through binding arbitration under Texas law in Dallas County, Texas. You may opt out of binding arbitration within 30 days of first using our services by emailing legal@boxitco.com.
